Jillian Mitchell's
Jillian Mitchell’s (Princess) ballet training began in Michigan at the Milligan School of ballet, under Karen Milligan. She continued her training at the Harid Conservatory where she worked with choreographer Mark Godden, and performed ballets including La Bayadere, Concerto Barrocco, Serenade, and the Nutcracker. Jillian spent her summer breaks attending The National Ballet School, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, American Ballet Theatre, and on scholarship at Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Jillian finished her training at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and performed in Les Sylphides and Grand Defile’ Classique. Upon graduation, Jillian joined the New Jersey Ballet where she performed both in the corps de ballet and as a soloist in many ballets including Paquita, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Valse Fantasies, Don Quixote, Giselle, Flower Festival and Corsaire. Jillian has also worked with Rebecca Davis Dance Company, Brooklyn Ballet, Roxey Ballet, and Georgia Ballet. She’s enjoyed working with the choreographers Sean Hilton, Ron de Jesus, Ronnie D. Carney, Randy James, Noelle Kayser, Stuart Loungeway, and Jae Man Joo. In Atlanta, Jillian has worked with Proia Dance Project, and gloATL. In 2017, she launched a new contemporary dance company, Kit Modus, which is in residence at Callanwolde Fine Arts center where she also serves as ballet artistic director.
